Microdermabrasion is one of the easiest ways to wake up dull, tired-looking skin. A gentle mechanical exfoliation polishes away the buildup of dead surface cells that leaves skin looking rough or shadowed — no needles, no chemicals, no recovery time to plan around. Most guests leave with skin that feels noticeably smoother and looks brighter, though as with any treatment, results vary from person to person.
It's a favorite with Miami skin for a reason. Sun, humidity, and daily SPF layered under makeup all take a toll on the surface of your skin, and microdermabrasion is the low-commitment reset: a quick polish before an event, or a steady series to keep texture in check year-round. If you're curious about resurfacing but not ready for stronger treatments, this is a friendly place to start.
At Beauty Zensation, microdermabrasion is $120 — published right here, like every price we charge. We're a family-owned, bilingual studio on Coral Way, minutes from Coral Gables, Brickell, and Little Havana, and we always look at your skin before we treat it. If a different treatment would serve you better that day, we'll tell you so — that's how we've earned our neighbors' trust.
What to expect
- 01
Book online in minutes
Microdermabrasion can be booked directly online — pick any slot Tuesday–Friday 10am–4pm or Saturday 10am–2pm. No deposit required; we just ask for 24 hours' notice if your plans change.
- 02
We look at your skin first
Before any treatment begins, our provider examines your skin and listens to your goals. If microdermabrasion is the right fit that day, we proceed; if something else would suit you better, we'll say so honestly.
- 03
The polish itself
A handheld exfoliating tip glides across your skin, lifting away dull surface layers with gentle suction. It feels like a light scratch with a soft vacuum — no numbing needed, and we adjust the intensity to your comfort.
- 04
Hydrate, protect, glow
We finish with hydration and send you home with simple aftercare: diligent SPF and a few days off harsh scrubs or strong actives. Some guests see mild pinkness for a few hours; most go straight back to their day.
- 05
Plan your series, if you want one
If a series makes sense for your texture goals, we'll map out the spacing before you leave. In-house payment plans are available on 6-session packages, and we take Apple Pay, card, and Zelle.
Microdermabrasion — questions, answered
How much does microdermabrasion cost at Beauty Zensation?
It's $120, flat — the price you see published is the price you pay for the session. There's no deposit to book and no surprise add-ons at checkout. If our provider believes your skin would benefit from something different or additional, we discuss it with you before anything happens, never after.
What does microdermabrasion feel like?
Most guests describe it as a light scratching sensation paired with gentle suction — closer to a firm exfoliating massage than anything painful. No numbing is needed, and we adjust the intensity in real time, so tell us at any point if you'd like it softer.
How long is the appointment, and is there downtime?
It's a quick visit — most guests fit it in without rearranging their day. Afterward, your skin may look slightly pink or feel a bit tight for a few hours. We'll ask you to be diligent with sunscreen and skip harsh scrubs and strong actives for a few days, but there's no recovery period to plan around.
How many microdermabrasion sessions will I need?
One session gives many guests the fresh, polished look they want before an event. For ongoing texture and dullness goals, a series spaced a few weeks apart tends to work best — our provider will recommend a rhythm for your skin at your visit, and in-house payment plans are available on 6-session packages. Results vary from person to person.
Is microdermabrasion right for my skin?
It suits most skin types dealing with dullness, rough texture, or mild congestion. If you have very sensitive skin or active breakouts, a gentler or more targeted option — like our acne treatment or a personalized chemical peel — may serve you better. That's exactly why we evaluate your skin before treating it, in English or Spanish.
